"How Can I Delete My Yahoo Account?"

Just in case you're wondering how you can delete your Yahoo account the first thing that you have to do is to sign onto Yahoo with your sign-in name and your password. After you have done that then go to:

https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user

Why would anyone want to delete their Yahoo account? It could be for a number of reasons. When I first got online and found out about Yahoo I signed up for it. Then something would happen where I couldn't sign in or I forgot my password or something so I just registered for another Yahoo account. After awhile I had too many yahoo accounts and wanted to get rid of most of them.

As far as I can tell "How Can I Get Rid Of My Yahoo Account?" is a very popular question amongst people looking for how they can delete or cancel their Yahoo account.

Once you sign in to Yahoo finding out how to delete your account is hard - if not impossible - to find and the only reason why I got the link was that I was looking for it online.

So in case you are wondering how to delete your Yahoo account, just sign in to Yahoo as you normally would do and then click the link above which should take you to the Yahoo page where it will ask you if you want to delete your Yahoo account permanently.

Anybody Else Use Netscape As Their Browser?

I was signing in to Yahoo and it said that my browser wasn't supported. Strange? I'm sure that I used netscape before when I went to Yahoo? Anyway it let me sign in using Netscape. They also give you the option of being able to download their "supported" browsers like IE6 and higher and Firefox.

I have heard a lot about Firefox but haven't downloaded it yet. I hate long downloads and I got burned one time with one download that messed up my computer no end so I am very hesitant when it comes to downloading something.

Of course I have Internet Explorer - 'cause it came with the computer. But I was having some trouble with it so I decided to download Netscape's browser because it gave me another browser option.

But for some reason Netscape's browser doesn't seem to be too popular?

Ever Heard Of Paypal?

I know that there are a lot of people that already know what paypal is but I have also come to find out that there are a lot of people that don't know what paypal is.

With Paypal you can accept credit card payments on your site. That way if you have a service or product to sell you can sign up for paypal and be able to accept payments by credit card!

Well I'm a paypal member and just recently someone sent in a payment to me. Since this was my first Paypal transaction I thought that it would show in my account immediately! But it does not.

Just in case you are curious about paypal and its process if someone sends you a payment via PayPal and you want that payment to go into your bank account then it will take (according to the Paypal site itself) 3 - 4 business days before it will show up in your bank account.

In order to be able to have a Paypal account you have to have a bank account and a credit card.

You also have the option of getting a Paypal debit card so that payments that you receive you will be able to spend right away!

I Love My Lexmark All-In-One Printer!

I had to send a fax this morning and I can't tell you how good it felt to be able to send it right from my home! I remember a time a few years ago when I had to send something by fax and I had to drive to this place where they charged me around $20 to send a fax out of state!

I love my Lexmark All-In-One Printer! (and I'll love it even more when I get some more printer cartridges for it!)

November 3, 2007 - Of course finding replacement cartridges is proving to be quite frustrating! My closest Walmart and RiteAid didn't have them so now I guess the next place I try will be at the Radio Shack store that is at my local mall.

Innovage Digital Camera - Keychain Camera

I got this little keychain digital camera while at my local Walmart. Of course you know the reason why I got this was because of the price!

Now when I first got it I decided to try it out and it doesn't work too badly if you don't mind your pictures coming out in less than "finest" quality. To make a long story short - it will do in a pinch. But there are some things that I have learned about it.

  • The batteries - since this camera is so small and the batteries that it uses are so small, the batteries run out quickly - not so much quickly but when I have used the camera and then set it aside for awhile and wanted to use it again I find that the batteries have run out. Now if you don't have any replacement batteries at the time this could put a "krimp" in your picture-taking plans.

  • Here is a link to a message forum that also discusses this small digital camera. It seems many people have it but they don't have the software that came with it or they are claiming that the software that they did have has been damaged. They are asking people to send them a copy of the digital camera's software.

  • this small digital camera is also supposed to be able to act as a webcam. So far I haven't been able to use it as such. I'll get a blurry picture for like 10 seconds and then I get this dotted kind of scene - so I'm guessing that the camera is not powerful enough to act as a webcam.

  • the camera itself can be attached via usb port

Lately I have been using my cellphone to take any digital pictures so I haven't used the keychain digital camera for a while. Maybe I'll give it a run-thru to see if it still works - after I get some batteries for it of course.

"AOL Connection Lost"

"Your AOL Connection Has Been Lost....."

Well this is a very frustrating screen message that came on the last time I tried to sign in! My first thought was whether or not I had paid my AOL bill - which I had. Then my thoughts turned to other bills like my phone bill, the electric bill and so on.................

So I tried signing on again....and again.....and again! I still got the same message "Your AOL Connection Has Been Lost". Then I tried to use another dialing number and I got the same error message. Then I tried a third dialing number and - again - I got the same error message!

Then I went into a panic! What if I have lost my AOL connection forever? How could I ever possibly be able to work from home again? I would have to go out and get a "real" job - a job that I would hate for sure.....................

So I decide to do some "offline" work - with the above thoughts still lingering in my mind.........................

I finished the "offline" work and decided to re-start my computer (and go back to my original AOL dial-in number). I tried to sign on again!

IT WORKED!!!!!!!!

So here I am typing away on my blog.....

Is this obsessive of me?

If this happens to you here is a link to a site that will explain the steps that you should go through just in case you get the same AOL "error" message when you try to sign on.

Taking The Time To Enjoy My Computer More!

I usually just rip and roar through my computer projects! "Get it done and get it done fast" were my mottos!

But I have come to realize that there are a lot of fun things on my computer and there are a lot of fun things that I can do with my computer!

For instance today I was going to print out some forms that I have to fill out and send in. Usually I just bring them up on screen and then print them out. But this time I did a little fooling around with my print settings and came to see that there are a lot of "cool" things that I can do with my printing settings. I can have specific settings that I want to print with and then be able to save those settings so that I can use them over and over again - something that I did this time!

I also had a little "fun" with the forms themselves - making them more "print friendly" so that I wouldn't use so much ink when I printed them out!

Of course there are lots of fun programs that I have on my computer that I haven't really played with yet because I have been too busy focusing on just the work that had to be done! What about the fun stuff too!

It's time to enjoy my computer just for the heck of it!

No more "All Work And No Play!"

It doesn't mean that I'm going to stop "working" with my computer but it does mean that I should be having more fun with my computer because there are so many fun things to do with it.
