Do a google search on your own name. Why? Because you may be surprised at what the search engine will turn up on your name! You could be finding websites that are posting about you, revealing things like your personal information.

I have done this myself and so far it seems that I am ok!

Audio And Video - Sorry!

As much as it pains me to say not everybody has a high-speed internet connection. There are still a lot of people who are still using a dial-up modem as their internet connection. That means things like audio and video are slow to load - if they are able to load at all.

If you have these on your sites, please remember that not everyone is able to view them. It would be nice if everybody had a high-speed internet connection but everybody does not.

So if you do have these kinds of things on your site please place them so that they don't load right away. Give people the option of being able to click on a "play" button in case they do want to see or hear the video and/or audio that you may have on your site.
